Transport
Flying is the only way to
get to Greenland.
Air Greenland flies
between Copenhagen, Denmark,
and Kangerlussuaq, the
international airport in
Greenland. From
Kangerlussuaq there are
direct domestic flights to
Maniitsoq Monday to Friday.
Once in Greenland it is also
possible to get to and from
Maniitsoq using
Arctic Umiaq Line, a
ferry service that sails the
coast of Greenland.
Maniitsoq is linked with
Nuuk (the capital) and
Sisimiut.
Kangia
Boat Charter is a
little local boat charter
company who owns 2 passenger
boats. The boats operate in
the area from Sisimiut,
Kangerlussuaq, Nuuk and all
the small settlements in
between. |
